I can't sign in

Esan has no passwords. You sign in with a code we email you, or with your Google account — there is nothing to remember and nothing to reset.

How it works

1. Enter your email on the sign-in screen.
2. We send you a code.
3. Type the code into the same screen.

The code is valid for 60 minutes and can only be used once.

If it isn't working

• Use the newest code. Every request makes a new one and cancels the previous. If you asked twice, only the most recent works.
• Check the address. A typo means the email went somewhere else. The screen shows the address we sent it to.
• Type it, don't paste a space. Copying from an email sometimes picks up a trailing space.
• You can use it anywhere. The code is not tied to the device that asked for it, so you can request it on your laptop and read it on your phone — just type it back on the laptop.
