Esan Mail

Esan Mail gives you your own email address — yourname@esan.email — and a mailbox inside Esan. Anyone can write to it, and the agent can read your mail, open attachments and prepare replies for you. It is being rolled out gradually: if it is enabled for your account, you will find it in Settings → Mail.

Your address

Your address is based on your @handle: if your handle is ana, your address is ana@esan.email. You can add a tag after a plus sign — ana+suppliers@esan.email reaches the same mailbox, which helps you see where mail comes from. Your address is shown in Settings → Mail.

What arrives

Mail appears in the inbox in Settings → Mail. Messages flagged as spam or carrying a virus go to Spam, and an attachment with a virus is never stored. For every message Esan checks whether the sender's domain vouches for it (SPF, DKIM and DMARC) and tells the agent, so a message pretending to come from someone it does not is treated with suspicion. Mail in Spam is deleted after 30 days.

What the agent can do

Ask in any conversation: "What's new in my Esan mailbox?", "Read the attachment of the last email from my supplier", "Reply saying we confirm the order", "Forward this to Ana". The agent can search your mail, read a message or a whole conversation, open attachments in its workspace (PDFs, spreadsheets, documents), and prepare new messages, replies and forwards — with attachments, including files it has just made.

The agent never sends mail. What it prepares appears in the chat as a draft you can edit; a message leaves only when you press Send. The agent treats what your mail says as information, never as instructions: a message that asks for a payment cannot make the agent do anything.

Sending

You can send up to 50 messages a day (10 a day during your address's first week), to up to 10 recipients each, with up to 10 attachments and 25 MB per message. Mail the agent drafted carries a technical label, invisible in the message, that marks it as written with AI. If an address bounces permanently, or its owner reports your mail as spam, Esan stops sending to it. Esan Mail is for your own correspondence — not for newsletters, campaigns or unsolicited commercial mail (see the Terms).

Bring in mail from Gmail or Outlook

If the people you work with write to another address, forward that mail to your Esan address:

  • Gmail: in Gmail's settings, open Forwarding and POP/IMAP and add your Esan address. Gmail sends a confirmation code to it; you will find the code in your Esan inbox. Then forward everything or, better, create a Gmail filter that forwards only what you want Esan to see — for example, mail from your suppliers.
  • Outlook.com: in Outlook's settings, open Mail → Forwarding. Microsoft 365 work accounts usually block forwarding to outside addresses until the administrator allows it.

A forwarded message may show its sender as unverified: forwarding can break the checks described above.

Privacy and deleting

Your mail is confidential. It is processed automatically only to deliver and protect it and when you ask the agent to work with it; nobody at Esan reads it unless you ask us to, a security incident requires it, or the law does. It is never used to train AI models. Delete a message and it is gone with its attachments; delete your account and your mailbox goes with it, and your address is retired — never given to anyone else.
