Pricing & limits
Free to start
You can use Esan for free, with five tasks a month on a lighter model — no card required. Enough to run real work and see what Esan does before deciding.
Plans
Every plan gives you the same Esan. What you pay for is how much you can use it, not which features you get: every paid plan runs the full range of models, including the most capable one, and runs tasks in parallel.
The plans differ only in the size of the monthly allowance — Pro is the base, and Plus, Max and Max+ are multiples of it. Current prices are on the pricing page.
How usage is counted
A task spends according to the work it does — how deep the research goes, which tools it uses, how long it runs. A short question costs a fraction of a long investigation, so a paid allowance is a budget rather than a task count. The free tier is the exception: it is counted in whole tasks.
If a task would exceed your allowance, Esan says so before it starts rather than stopping halfway, and tells you when the allowance resets. You can see where you stand in Settings → Billing.
Prices and tax
Prices are set in US dollars and shown in your local currency where we support it. Cards show the price before tax; VAT is added at checkout according to the country you enter, and appears on the invoice as its own line.
Changing your mind
Within 14 days of subscribing you can end the plan immediately and get the unused part of what you paid back, without giving a reason. The option appears in the cancel dialog in Settings → Billing while the window is open.
Wallet spending is separate
Money your tasks spend through the wallet is separate from your plan — it only ever comes from the balance you add, within the limits you set. Your plan covers using Esan; your wallet covers what tasks pay for.
